Naruida Radar and Xi'an Meteorological Bureau "Jointly Build Phased Array Radar"

Jointly building a phased array radar to serve the splendid "14th National Games." On April 13, the "X-band dual-polarization (dual-polarization) active phased array radar refined weather observation network" project, jointly constructed by Guangdong Naruida Radar Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Naruida Radar) and Xi'an Meteorological Bureau, was successfully launched at the Tongyuan Rencun artificial weather modification base in Gaoling, Xi'an. Shi Mingsheng, deputy director of Xi'an Meteorological Bureau, and Li Lin, deputy general manager of Naruida Radar, jointly attended the opening ceremony.

Jointly building phased array radar, serving exciting events On April 13th, the "X-band dual-polarization (dual-polarized) active phased array radar refined weather observation network" project, jointly constructed by Guangdong Naruida Radar Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Naruida Radar) and Xi'an Meteorological Bureau, commenced smoothly at the artificial weather modification base in Tongyuanren Village, Gaoling District, Xi'an. Shi Mingsheng, deputy director of Xi'an Meteorological Bureau, and Li Lin, deputy general manager of Naruida Radar, jointly attended the commencement ceremony.

This project is composed of 3 sets of X-band dual-polarization (dual-polarized) active phased array radars independently developed by Naruida Radar. The spatial resolution of the radar observation data reaches 30m*30m, and the time resolution reaches 60S. Compared with the currently used new generation of weather radar in Xi'an, the spatial resolution is increased by 64 times and the time resolution is increased by 6 times. It can provide a series of refined meteorological service solutions based on dual-polarization (dual-polarized) phased array radar, including severe weather monitoring, severe weather warnings, and short-term weather forecasts.

Both parties plan to complete the radar network construction by the end of May this year and put it into operational use. At that time, it will provide accurate and comprehensive meteorological service support for the smooth holding of the "14th National Games" (referred to as: National Games) and the "11th National Paralympic Games and the 8th Special Olympics" (referred to as: Paralympic Games) held in Xi'an this year, and continuously provide accurate and timely data support for local meteorological disaster prevention and reduction and meteorological research, safeguarding the lives and property of the people of Xi'an and social production and life.

Recently, the construction demonstration zone for low-altitude applications in Yantian and the launch ceremony for the Yantian Low-Altitude Application Service Management System were successfully held at the Yantian eVTOL Industrial Park in Shenzhen. Naruida Radar's TDKFT0104 Ku-band dual-polarization multi-purpose radar served as the primary low-altitude detection equipment in the platform system construction.
