Recently, many parts of southern China have experienced continuous heavy rainfall, leading to floods and geological disasters in Guangdong, Fujian, and other areas, causing casualties and property losses. Parts of northern China are experiencing rapidly developing drought conditions, resulting in a significant contrast between floods in the south and drought in the north. CCTV's Focus Interview broadcasted a large-scale special series report on the "three lines of defense" for rain and water condition monitoring and forecasting. It is understood that the "first line of defense" for rain and water conditions consists of meteorological satellites and weather radar systems. That is, meteorological satellites and weather radars are used to obtain large-scale weather information, high-resolution areal rainfall monitoring of river basins, and short-term heavy rain warnings. This extends the short-term rainfall forecasting period, enabling advance risk warnings of floods and flash floods, allowing for defensive measures to outpace flood disasters.

The HAXPT0164 X-band dual-polarization phased array weather radar system, independently developed by Naruida Radar, is a new type of water conservancy radar system independently developed by Naruida Radar. This radar system estimates areal rainfall in river basins and, combined with the hydrological model developed by Naruida Radar, simulates and predicts river basin runoff. It can conduct 7x24-hour all-weather, all-environment precise rainfall estimation and areal rainfall estimation for river basins and large reservoir areas. It provides real-time accurate flow prediction, water level forecasting, and flood warnings to water authorities.
